Reopening Hospital de Sant Pau (Barcelona)
The historic site of the Hospital de Sant Pau in Barcelona was reopened after having undergone an integral rehabilitation process. The largest modernist architectural complex in the world already has one of the most pioneering facilities worldwide for the air conditioning of the enclosures.The solution adopted has been geothermal energy, which provides renewable energy and, additionally null visual impact, that makes the solution more suitable. Thanks to this solution, the architectural singularity and its artistic beauty have not been affected. Geinor advised on the realization of about 300 holes of about 120 meters each. becoming one of the largest facilities in Europe.
