ABAD
Abad is a family business that offers product and space design services with more than 60 years of experience.
The brothers Iker and Jon have recently begun a process of recomposition incorporating new values to their creations: high degree of reflection and research, preeminence of the local, centrality of people, living beings and the planet… to imagine, from design, other ways of living that drive us towards a more open, fair and inclusive society.
With ecology as a focus, the products incorporate attractive narratives that give them a high sensitizing potential. With this vision they have participated in European projects such as Openmaker with Green Divider, and Designscapes, with the Biribil initiative that unites circular economy and citizen participation.

ONTZIA
Ontzia is a family of products made by reusing packaging recycling containers.
It arises from the participation in the European program Designscapes, whose pilot project was carried out in 2020 in the sports center of Fadura (Getxo). The project is framed in the combination of circular economy and citizen participation. The use of the ‘upcycling’ technique gives the pieces a strong narrative with great power to raise environmental awareness, which was one of the objectives.
In addition to site-specific solutions, other solutions have been devised for different uses: urban bench, bus stop, urban vegetable garden and so on.
KANTAREPE
Modular system of urban furniture that combines benches, planters and litter garbage cans to form different sets, in the same way as the stones do on our wildest beaches. Made from recycled polyethylene plates, the seating surfaces are made from local wood for a greater sense of comfort.
